Basicaalllyy, I’ve never actually even dreamed of writing a story, though I love writing articles. (That’s a whole different story)
I never even started writing one, but that fine day, as I was writing something vigorously, I saw the words before me turn into a beautiful story. I contemplated because it was surprising; but then I didn’t want to let go of it in the middle.
Suddenly I just knew what it was all going to be about in the story. I somehow felt that my inspiration wouldn’t run out suddenly, and that’s why I am doing this.
So I am introducing you to my new series, Chosen!! I don’t know if I should call it a big fat novel yet, but this is my first and I just want to take it where my heart wants it to.
This is the story of a girl who realizes her worth, power and strength, after being through a turmoil of bad days; after being potrayed as unworthy. She rises from the pits and shows people around her, what could happen if she wished to set the world on fire. (Maybe its a bit too dramatic? Don’t worry you’ll like it as you go on. It’s isn’t over dramatic, I swear. 🙂 )
TIP: Curl up on a cushion and read slowly.🙂 I am sure you’ll enjoy it that way. If you’re in a hurry, then I suggest you read it sometime later. Thank you! ❤
This is the story of Hayley Night, a 15-year old teenager. She’s kinda always been calculative and hardly anything happens unplanned to her. Until that day. Until that day, which changed her life, when she started having no idea as to what would happen the next day. Until that day when she realised that there was more, than what actually met the eye.
I’m sure the actual story is better than the description. Lol. This is a shout out to all the beautiful girls out there. Life your head high and rule the world.
So here it goes-
As she tilted her head up, she caught herself staring back contentiously. Her hands instantly flew to her mouth and her big dark eyes grew wide.
Was she seeing it real?
Her fingertips caressed her face, which looked as though it was cut right from the pages of Vogue. She caught sight of her tiny elegant nose, her pink rosy lips, and the way they fit together beautifully….they looked perfect.
Her skin was smooth and….and shiny. She couldn’t believe it. She let her hair down – dark, auburn curls that tumbled over her shoulders and hung till the middle of her back. How they accentuated her strong cheekbones. Oh God.
She looked beautiful…and fierce.
But didn’t they tell her she was ugly?
Didn’t they tell her she could never be a light in the world, because she was darkness in every form? But here she was, as radiant as the Sun.
She raised her head to look at herself in eye, and she almost lost herself. They were dark, mysterious and went about as deep as anyone could go into; and there was that swirl of rich colours.
She gasped. Were they real? Yes. They were as true as her breath.
She stroked her long lashes absently. But how come she hadn’t noticed this before?
“Because she refused to look at the mirror. Because she simply refused to believe she was beautiful. Because she was scared of the demons she faced everyday…”
Her thoughts reeled back to the day’s events and she cringed. She gritted her teeth, and her eyes went cold as she thought of him.
How he had fooled her all these days…months even.
She slowly sank into her warm quilts. And she thought. Wondered. Pondered about where it had all gone wrong. Too much trust. She decided.
‘Her laughter echoed through the hall. She had been titled as the Best Dancer and the crowd had been deafening. It was her moment of glory. Eyes bright and shining, she raised the trophy above her head. She could hear her name being chanted in a rhythm. Tears streamed her cheek. She was the happiest girl, that day.
Never did she know that there was a storm coming through her way.
As she walked out of the school gates, smiling to herself, she saw him. Staring at her. His eyes twinkled, and she caught herself turning her head towards him.
“Who’s this Guy?”, she wondered. “Probably a senior”, she thought, “waiting for someone possibly.”
But there was something about him she didn’t notice. Something catastrophic.
Right then she didn’t know, that it was her, the guy was waiting for.
So yeahh! That’s all for now. How was it? I’m super excited to continue. Did you like it? Do you there could’ve been something else too? Please please let me know. I would love to know what you guys think.
